Paris rooftops
Welcome to...
Paris rooftops

In the heart of the lively deuxième arrondissement you will find the rue d'Aboukir.

It is one of the longest streets in Paris, extending from the Porte St. Denis to the Place des Victoires.

126 ("cent vingt-six") is the number of our building, and we are on the top floor,

far from the hustle and bustle of the Parisian garment district that surrounds us.

The view from our windows is... Paris rooftops.

Nearby, through the Porte St. Denis arch, you will find the Faubourg St. Denis markets.

And there is Chez Robert, who specializes in pork products and roast chickens and ducks.

If you turn left when leaving cent-vingt-six, you will come to rue des Petites Carreaux.

Turn left again, and you will find an iron gate where the Marché Montorgueil begins.

This is one of the oldest markets in Paris, and enticements abound.

There are pâtisseries, fromageries, charcuteries, boulangeries, marchands du vin, and cafés.

After exploring the market, take a 20-minute, meandering walk through this fascinating quartier.

Stroll past the venerable Église Ste. Eustâche, through the old les Halles market area, and down to the Seine.

Here you will find Notre Dame cathedral, and further along the river, the Louvre.

You are in France, and this is Paris, and you are in love with life.
